Workshop Details:
The Standard Belt workshops will go for roughly 4 hours and will kick off at 9am, please come 15 minutes early to get settled in, select some leather and say hi. We have a fridge (and a full kitchen) if you want to bring food, we also have cold brew coffee if you need a top up.
Address:
Shed 4, 356 Bilsen Road, Geebung 4034
We have parking out the front of the workshop, just drive down down the driveway and you will see us on the right hand side.
General plan:
Workshops generally go like this, we will introduce you to the team, what you will be making, the options you have and the general steps. You will cut out the leather, mark it up, burnish the edges, glue it up, punch the holes, learn to saddle stitch and look after your item as well as have the opportunity to monogram your initials or a small word or two onto your item!
These workshops aren't made to set you up to make a pair of shoes or something wild, but it will give you an understanding of what goes into a handmade product and a greater appreciation (we hope) of the industry!
Each workshop purchase is for one spot at the table, we have 8 spots available, so if you want to bring a friend or someone else wants to come along, make sure you purchase 2!
Or if the whole family wants to come along, that also works. If there aren't enough spots available or you have something in mind, please reach out and we can see what we can do!
