ABOUT

SLOWLY, BUT SURELY

At Good Faith studio, we create products that stand up to the use and abuse of everyday life. We actually think our wares get better with age: developing stronger characters and richer stories as time goes on.

The utmost thought and care goes into each and every product, which are all handmade in our Brisbane-based studio. Yup, it’s not a super efficient way to create, but it’s honest. (And we care about honesty.)

Each item’s been developed on its own timeline, with its own set of challenges and rewards. We find a lot of beauty in this one-of-a-kind-ness.

GOOD STUFF

We we use a combination of premium materials, always aiming for the perfect mix of quality, durability, and charm. When buying supplies, we look to our own backyard first—supporting local distributors and makers whenever possible. (Most of our leathers come from a fifth-generation family tannery just north of Brisbane.)

PROCESS-ISH

All of our products are born out of need. (You won’t find any dust collectors here.) This initial idea turns into sketches, then prototypes, then some more sketches, and some more prototypes. We cycle on until we’ve made something we think makes life a little better.

Our wares go through thorough user testing and multiple iterations, and are constantly being refined until we’re confident our best foot is forward. (Again, speed is not really our strongest suit.)

CUSTOM

We’re a pretty open-minded bunch. If you’re on the lookout for something completely unique, give us a holla. We’re down to experiment with new materials and get you where you’re going.

NEED TO KNOWS

At Good Faith we’re pretty serious about using materials that reflect what we believe in: good quality and longevity. However, due to the nature of leather (et cetera), discolourations and marks from a materials past life may be present. We think these imperfections add character. (Think of them as freckles.)
Almost every piece of leather comes in a slightly a different shade. This, plus how it’s been treated, sun exposure, temperature, oil, and wax all contribute to the aging process. On top of that, what you see on screen may be slightly different than real life. We try and take accurate photos, but we’re not, like, pros.
Each product is made to order, and takes about three to four weeks. If you do need it sooner, please contact us. Making dreams come true is something we’re into.
TERMS AND THINGS

All Good Faith items are handmade and bespoke. Meaning: sales are final. We just can’t afford to refund based on change-of-mind.
